i love the elves soo much they where a.w.e.s.o.m.e in homm5 especialy the master hunters, the druids and the war dancers!!! please when you make them don't put too many creatures that oare not elves like dragons and threans... in homm 5 there was a good choice and design of creatures.

Je partage le sentiment de #Jo3780, cette surabondance d'elfes me pète sévèrement les burnes. Ils ne sont ni originaux ni particulièrement attirants (mon point de vue bien sûr).
Après en tant que joueur, j'ai toujours beaucoup apprécié la sylve depuis le 3, par contre je trouve que le Donjon a pris beaucoup trop d'importance durant le 5 et le 6, et j'en ai un peu marre de voir leur tronche Emo-Gothique à toutes les sauces. Et je trouve Raelag plus intéressant en Agrael perso.

I'm guessing it's more like they finally admitted on release day that there was no way they could get it to work. Which really should have been communicated sooner. At least between the different departments.

I am actually surprised that someone trusted them before... its not like this hapened first time now. To be fair, this kind of problems always happen. What is surprising how confident they were in twitch video (I wouldnt be if I knew about all the ongoing problems). Seems that devs and their management live in separate realities. Correct communication is all that people want.

Well, it's simple RobvD84 : I remember very well the time when we don't have any informations shared by the devs and where we just had patience while we waited. Now, we have the news when the dev can, if they want, keep us in the dark - it's very kind of them to tell us how things are, even with (sometimes) delay, because they're not obliged to do so.

M&M Team! Just keep doing what you're doing. Its Nice to see the developers showing as much passion for this game as the fans are... I for one am almost 30 and these games have been my favourite for 20 years.... I was disappointed with HOMM 4 & 6, I enjoyed Homm 5. The True Patriotic Fans of this game just want more of the same, with improvements, not alot of change. More Factions, not less. Sanctuary was OKAY, but not at the cost of other favoured factions. Keep up the good work team!

We have been through this in the old faction voting threads. You cannot bring back warlock without compromising other current factions. Also, this is Ashan, Ubi's world, where warlock has never existed.
Do I have to remind you that aside from the purple/black dragon both the griffin and the hydra were an integral part of that faction? Unfortunately, Ashan's Haven has a tight hold over the griffin, so there is no way Warlock can happen.

Griffin is just 1 creature, and it was already Castle(haven)in HOMM3 theres no reason for the others to not reunite

Comes down to the fact that they shouldn't be making promises unless they are 100% sure they can keep them. I'm not sure if this comes down to a stringent timeline set by Ubisoft or not, but people don't appreciate being hyped up and then being let down. Would have been better to never release a date for it, unless they're 100% sure.

Actually it is quite easy to provide almost 100% certainity to deliver something, but product should be already ready at the time when such promise is given and only fine tuning should be ongoing since that point. Blizzard does it like this, they reveal release date when they practically have not much to do aside of small balancing :

Game was ready with build ~4000, then after 3 years build ~16000 (fixes+polish) was released. Quality has its price.
