in real world, i hate will of majority(democracy). seems like same goes in here too. smart people are not majority. you calculate the rest, if you "can" ofcourse.
i have no respect to majority, majority always chooses wrong options.

I've played every heroes game and still cycle through most of them to this date. And my vote counts the same as someone who might of just caught wind of the game and voted for shits and giggles. I agree with you the majority never votes righty and I'd rather no more votes at all

i guess devs are capable, and they can make a good Heroes game. but this is just an assumption of mine depending on an one month of observation.
so, yeah, theres the element of suprise!
but i can accept this small suprise factor, because it would be still better than letting majority ruin the game, thats what im sure of.

I do agree with you. I always found meritocracy to be the ideal system if it could be implemented properly so you could call me too very much an elitist on that regard. For now however the people have spoken and we'll just have to live with the fury line-up. Not like it's the end of the world.

They should have votes, voting on the game's features is good. But, to vote you should have to pass an intelligence test (to show that you're not an idiot) and a quiz on the previous heroes game (to show that you're a fan of the series). However, most likely this system would be too open to cheating :(.

although you have some point, i still want to remind you something. majority suffers greatly of its choice most of the time, it just happens like that in history. for an example, they choose a goverment and realise they did a horrible mistake after a very very long time, like a couple of decades.
usually they dont even realy aware of what is good for them. to satisfy majority, sometimes you got to deny the majority. i guess, this describes our current situation.

@sqrjames I think a quiz on the previous games might be a little harsh on younger fans of the series. Lets not forget that the 1st game came out way back in 1995!

I think this voting system has come about from a lot of criticism during H6 that they did not listen to fans enough. Or that it took them a long time to do what fans asked for. Now they wish to appear like fans are the most important thing to them.

Yes, me too, I was hoping for unicorns.The deer does not seem to be much of a fighting unit at all.
If they insist on keepign the deer then at least move it to Tier 1 and give the a "well fed" buff to the enemies that kill off a stack of them =)

Replace the deer with Unicorns. Sun deer sound totally lame, Unicorns have a pedigree in the Heroes games and were an interesting unit. Trust me, every Heroes fan will thank you.

Yay! Sylanna's Fury won! I would have been satisfied with any of the lineups, though this was a clear favorite. Wonder what those who said that 20% of the votes for Fury were fake are going to say now :P.

it's official, 45,28% voters are stupid idiots. This will be the worst Sylvan Faction ever. No Dragons as Champion because the Dryad without the Treants are stupid and week creature.
If I had known it earlier, i hate chossen the dwarfs.

That's not obvious choice. Dragons can cost more Dragonsteel, Treants - more Crystals. If you are lack of crystals, you'd bettel build dragons.

I think the dragon will be stronger, but the treant will have more abilities and will be healed.

sorry this is so, this is stupid and wors Line up for Sylvan ever. Bladedancer as Elite? Treants as Champion? treants must be a elie unit and bladedancers core. The second Champion must be what else and not the treant and not necessarily the Phönix.

It's a Faction where you can have two strategies that are as similar as l and I.
First mass dryads to defend ranged attackers and some treants to be tanky but with focus on ranged attacks.(any other unit would be pretty useless)
And the other "strategy" you focus on Dragon(because it's fast) and ranged attackers (the dragon somehow takes the role of the treant/dryad system) and the other units are more or less food to get time. Both strategys are pretty much the worst you can get for town siege.

Man, for a team marketing so much how you wanna go back to roots etc, etc. And now we have fury, which is the farthest from what Sylvans have ever been in the history of Heroes. But yup, marketing wise Heroes V is more interesting.

so you think that your taste is good? why? There are many people - as far as i understand - that think that they are smarter, cooler etc - not like others. Unique. Well you should be glad 'cause you have a real chance to prove your total superiority. Draw thematic art or write a petition or call other "unique" people to make smth like community mod in future.
