Interesting, I would make one with listed stuff that needs to be fixed, so people can decide, but ubi doesnt really care I guess (nothing will be fixed), there never been 1 response to those polls from ubi side, which is rather sad.
They seems to be having good grasp of what fans really want. Their vision about what makes this game "best heroes" is overlaping with fans opinion completely. Not like this would be super expensive to do, but why wasting money for changes if you are simply right.

This faction is testament to the extent to which they've capitulated to fan requests, perhaps too much IMO. I'm not hugely impressed by what they've put together, but I agree that they are listening to the fans, and very intently.
Sorry Ubi, but I don't like these specializations ... make them please like in H5 ... higher level = better bonus!

The players are split in two, the ones that would like some new stuff, some diversity, like you and me and the ones that say that newer games should pe homm3 with latest graphics.
I think it's hard for the producers to make us all happy.

LRazo, what does HOMM3 have to do with horrible specializations? HOMM3 had not the best, but this is utter disaster! We had Heroes then we could distinguish between. these are just laughable, a huge step back

Uhm no i think it is more like players are devided in 2 groups. 1 that like H6 and will like this. And 1 that consist of mostly older fans (mostly from 3DO era) who just want a "good" "Heroes" game again.
nothing wrong with homm3 with upgraded graphics. I would buy and play it together with the new map editor. Don`t care much about innovation (for most of the time)
Let`s first see if the game will be playable on sept 29th and then worry about little details like heroes specialisations. For me the portraits and bio is more important at this time. And they tend to be great.

It is a detail. Probably one of the easyest things to change. Unlike art.
I don't know. It seems it is the otherway around. It seems that art (and i mean changing how units look and stuff like that) is easier to change then something like skills or specializations. There is even a big chance we can't even do anything to specialization.
I still hope Ubi makes it possible to mod the skeelwheel. But it seems set in stone that this will be impossible.

My hopes of succesfully changing the townscreen and 3d models are lower then altering a couple of stats on hero skills. Ill bet changing hero stats will be a walk around the park comparing to creating your own faction. Ill think it wont take long before this will get changed. People are panicking about such meaningless things while we just dont know the state of the game at this moment.
It's not panicking. It's frustration that Ubi doesn't seem to understand what a lot of ppl want. And also that they DID limit the options for modding, while that is where some ppl put thier hope in. I think they do good if they make it so that the skillwheel and specializations is able to be modded. Ofcourse i hope visuals could be modded too by then (since i would like to see H2 with H7 graphics for example).

Well i would say we basically want the same thing. If i get the chance i will practically change everything i can get my hands on that does not fit into my roleplaying. If it is within my abilities to do so. Spending 500-700 hours on the same map is not unusual for me when i create my own storylines/maps. From experiences with a couple of other games. (homm/aow). I would really be dissapointed if we could not change something as simple as hero specialisations.

I think it is impossible to read every comment. I also highly doubt they will even spend time in here. Otherwise they would know how much ppl dislike the specializations and should have already reacted to that.

Давно пора такую голосовалку, но смысла думаю нет, сомневаюсь что они будут переделывать готовые вещи. Так что будем все что не нравиться переделывать модами.
До выхода игры остался 1 месяц они не успеют даже если согласятся. Но они уже заявляли что больше переделок не будет...

Heroes' specials are the same again. + to stats, production or skill. Boring as hell. Similar spells, similar heroes, abilities and skills mostly are repeated for all the factions. This system is not designed for a replayability. There will be too much similarity and repetitiveness in the game, as far the game mechanics is concerned.
Furthermore, if the battles feel the same and remind some bashing (more troops win) or use of the same spells - which is gonna happen because heroes specializations and skillwheel kind of force you to follow a certain path, then the battles will be boring, too.
Ubisoft business plan is to release a mediocre/average Heroes game every few years and make some quick bucks. Quality is definitely not their goal.

Nobody told you that minotaurs of Ashan are vegans or even bulls in any way, lol.
The fusion of man and animal may cause some additional mutation. Zebras don't have horns for instance, but Centaurs have them. No one creature of which Manticore is "consisted" has horns, still, Manticore has them. Etc etc.
Sorry to disappoint you m8 H7 minotaurs eat unicorns only. That's why sylva has only unicorn mounts.

H7 - Darkstorm - Minotaur General (Increases the production of Minotaurs and Minotaur Guards by 1 in the area of control.)
H5 - Kythra - Slave Driver (Specializes in Minotaurs. All Minotaurs and Minotaur Guards in hero's army gain +1 to their attack and defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level.)
H7 - Sinitar - Mana specialist (Hero starts with the Prime Magic skill and Novice Mana regeneration as free ability.)
H5 - Sinitar - Catalyst (Empowered spells mana cost is reduced by 5% and + additional 1% per hero level.)

Hero starts with +2 Might. This is the worst joke ever.
If you trying to create specializations that will not affect the game balance much then you better just remove that feature from the game completely. There is nothing special in this specializations. How +2 Might could even help?! How +2 Might make this hero unique?
