I really hope Sylvan (if voted) would be similar as they were in 5, where they were so much fun to play.
Yes we might have had elves in heroes 6, but those were Dark elves. Let's get Sylvan this time! Even though they also should have been in 6. Heroes wont be properly Heroes without the green foresty elves. They've always been represented, except for in 6, which made it feel like an incomplete Heroes game.
I was constantly waiting for an expansion with Sylvans in 6 until the news of 7.

Dark Elves and Sylvan were very similar though.. "strike fast, strike hard". You're asking for them to not innovate go dwarves, go innovation!

i want both :) as far as i know they cant add all 9 races http://might-and-magic.ubi.com/universe/de-DE/universe-world-ashan/factions/index.aspx because of the budget, however i have to say i would have much enjoyed to see all nine races :( hope this is to come...?

It is, its Stronghold. They worship Sky and Earth, they are shamanistic with nature.

if i should pick i go fortress just to get something diffrent but i really dont use why they both can be a part of the univeres..we all know its only so they can make ekspansions and sell us dlc that its dones this way

I am not particularly exited by any of the choices here really. Feels like both options are between "default" fantasy races and design. I hope to see more interesting factions like the nagas of sanctuary, overlords of dungeon or something completely new to the series.
I am glad to see academy/tower making a return in this instalment though, now let us play as Solmyr again! Chain lightning all the stuff! :)

Well there is a good thing about that... People who like Dwarves and Elves will like Fortress and Sylvan, they fit consistent roles and playstyles, they are reliable. They both have room to grow on, but i feel Fortress has more if Machines are introduced, be the only race packing cannons and explosives. Thanes got your chain lightning!

I think they should add inferno and dungeon. Elves and Dwarfves should be added in single dlc after premiere.

As it was said Sylvan was a constant fraction throughout the games history. too bad they were not in heroes 6. Come to think of it it was a lot worse without academy in heroes 6.
and NO, dungeon and Sylvan aren't the same.

That is simply the best choice! No wonder heroes games have been going downhill since then :) Ubisoft should for sure unite the two to create the Sorceress/Rampart castle again. It was surely amazing, better than both Sylvan and Fortress.

No, you got them in Dungeon. I missed Dwarves in Clash of Heroes and 6 and still had to wait for expansions to get them in 5. Dwarves re far more deserving.
