A Halfling can have the ability to do extra damage against large creatures (effectively a Giant Slayer). Peasants, although weak, can generate gold per day (Taxpayer). They shouldn't be as weak as in H3, where they are only useful for Necropolis :P. I like the idea of the Seraphim, like H5's alternate Angel upgrade. Or give them the name Fallen Angel, and place them in the care of Inferno.
28As for rogues...we now have the Assassin and Stalker, so a Rogue would probably be less unique in the lineups of H7. He might be able to provide extra information for your Thieves Guild, and have No Retaliation as a second ability.

Adding maps and heroes was ok, but adding reused stuff when people are already in the edge of stating they didn't want much more reused stuff, and plus, still having issues with gameplay and multiplayer and not a mention of these issues in the next patch? 25I'd like to see some units from MM universe as well, from the old one, but ashanized, if needed be. Even simple ones such as Ooze (Emerald, Saphire or Bloodstone) or Giant Bats. Priest of the Sun/Moon (Light/Dark) as spell casters, and yes, Rocs, Thunderbirds, chimeras, and other non-reused stuff.

28Mummies are possible in Ashan, we saw them in H5. Peasants too. Halflings shouldn't be too hard to implement, Chimeras can be another wizard experiment, and a Thunderbird was featured in H6 :P.

With all the fiascos done in the game industry recently, i consider it a wonder and miracle that this game got a dedicated team that at least tries to make the game better and provides patches with hotfixes and now actualy with extra content...

25Uhm i am sorry but this is nothing, this should be normal for any game when it has been released 1 month ago. Also they supported H6 for while too and then they just abruptly ended it without saying a word and also with leaving things broken (atleast for me). So yeah i don't call this really good development. And not to mention that they are focussing on the wrong things at this point. Yes free content is always welcome, but not when half of the game is not working.
22You do realize though that in heroes VI there were only 2 or 3 patches and those far between each other and the game support ended very soon. Also you do realise that this patch will also offer bug fixes and other fixes as well. The content is just a bonus.
Also, i don't know of any game that provides content with free patches after 1-2 months of release. Of course i am not an avid gamer so on this regard i might be mistaken.

Some companies like the makers of the witcher 3/fallout 4/paradox provide its fan base with free content without asking more money. Yes you could buy expansions but there will be a lot of free content for all to share without spending more money.
25I think they are doing what they were supposed to, trying to level up of what it should have been released to begin with. I would consider an additional effort anything other than that, when things start feeling like a 'plus' instead of a 'fix'. We should not compare and level things between publishers by their fiascoes, but by their successful examples, only then it'll be possible improving gaming experience.
25I have found such games with free content. And they would have a lot of nerve to ask for money for this content, specially being reused. For an Expansion it is understandable even, expected yes. Not this. I cannot wonder how much of an uproar it would be if these people asked money for such content as this presented in this article. They know better – at least in this case.

9Also, H6 got a lot of patches after all and work very well at this moment. The biggest difference between H6 and H7 is that H6 is totally new game. H7 is made of reused assets from previous game in 50%. It is more advanced, more complex, it is still looking better.

The whole idea of making a new Heroes game is to give the fans actual "New" content. If you think logically; why would anyone buy H7 if it is just the same as H6.
