Word of advice: WE HATE THE H6 DRAGON MODEL. STOP USING IT FFS
I like H6 dragon model.
For a dragon that is supposed to be a follower of god of darkness glows too much.
h6 had a purple butterly dragon with the silliest flying animation I've ever seen lol
I hope they can adapt this artwork (whitch is not bad) to new, improved model and animations
There is no purple collor on him, wings are changed, he is bulkier.... what more would you want? Its fine
I want new, fresh designs for beloved classic creatures and not tweaked models that are already over used in H6 and in H7. The wings and head make it clear that it's that same damn model

@Cleglaw I understand your frustration but you have to understand people just fancy dungeon more than inferno. Whatever the units they would have still picked dungeon. Think about it, you and lockdron had the best arguments when the vote came up. But still that didint change anything. I love inferno and would have been satisfide with any line up, dungeon fans simply want the old school in a new age. But I am one of thoes people that strongly support change in design if it is at least decent.
LIke I've said many times, even at HC. I VOTED INFERNO DAMN IT. I had a feeling they were going to pull this crap but that doesn't mean I want to sit back and laugh as my favorite game series gets stepped on yet again.
I don't plan on laughing when inferno gets the same sucubus, juggurnat, and pit fiend models in its expansion.
Do you guys still think that inferno H6 units wouldnt be recycled, while dragon is(or its just old image, coz they dont want to show new models sooner)?
The dragon wing model was not good H6 but looking at it it looks like the same design they just need to make the wings more flexable not stiff wings!!
The wyverns had given me such high hopes for blackie too :( They have good looking wings and head, yet blackie gets a hand-me-down model that gets tweaked. NOT FAIR

People lets talk about how lots of units have the same abilities!! Ubi-nox ask a dev how come the emerald dragon has the exact same abilities with the wyvern? Why 4 or 5 units have vigilance ? Couldn't they think something different? Why almost every faction has a unit with sweep? Why is unfetttrerd seen almost everywhere? We ignored gameplay once more and got stuck with visuals.
seen same setup as line-ups is not good.
on the other hand having not-beign-flanked for several creatures, is logical and acctually good i think. same goes with unfattered, they are like enchancing passives, i can live with seeing those several times

im concerned more about lack or abilities AND creative abilities in necro, plus no spell in lich... druid has some cool spells so why lich doesnt, yeah?
And all of the creatures of Necro got "Undead" ability... What a lack of creativity! :3

We did rant fiercly as well, only difference is that Ubi chose to dismiss this feedback (at least regarding skill system where they openly say they disagree with us lol)
Still, upvoted your post because I agree.
So we can add Druid to the list - another piercing shot ability. It's already 4th unit with such ability.
Vigilance is not so huge problem for me but it's good only as additional ability and not the main one.
I'm hoping for Incorporeal for Ghost as in the gossips from fan day.
I agree about Wyvern and E. Dragon they are basically the same in terms of abilities.
Don't you know that Wyverns lives in Irollan, so ... . :P
I'd prefer what they're doing now compared to H6. I gave up pretty early on trying to recall each ability or trying to even understand others. Besides, repeating abilities didn't affect H3's gameplay or replay value: No retaliation, breath attack, no melee penalty, immunity to spells.
Not entirely sure what Chris' solution is, does he want smaller amount of abilities, same amount but changed, or more abilities?
Well yes, what they are doing now is better than h6 (again, what isn't lol), and even if h3 had very few abilities, some creatures had unique and mostly awesome abilities (MIghty Gorgon, Dread Knight, even Serpent Flies etc).
As someone else pointed out at HC, H5 had a good number in its balance and abilities, however, it didn't quite succeed when you took HP into consideration ie. H6 definitely had too many abilities, overall I think there is enough data in past games to find the good balance.

Allthough I see the lich in the faction vote on top of the screen.,.... And I love it btw. (Used to think that it would look like a total failure, but you guys proved me wrong).... I still miss a little something from dungeon. right now we only vote for it on the sole reason its dungeon. Not what it has to offer. You see?

To my knowledge, the percentages get revealed, but they still have to do a recount and check for fake votes.
A recount will be operated tomorrow in the morning just in case. However it seems that those results appear to be genuine from what I saw. Stay tuned for official results! Good night councillors :)

They will concentrate their efforts on dungeon now but Lich and Vampire will be revealed sooner or later....better later and great. They may also put some efforts in reworking Necro town and moon doe.

The title might say 'vote for your favourite faction' but instead we really need to be voting for the factions that will benefit from more testing.
And how do we decide which faction needs the most testing?
We consider the data already provided?
For instance, Wyverns and Emerald Dragons both have almost same abilities, do we really need to playtest to point out this is redundant? I think not.

Do we need to playtest to know what the 'undead' ability does? You see, we could make those sort of arguments for each and every faction, except Dungeon, so the current data is not enough to make an accurate decision.

In reference to Dungeon, having no data does not mean an automatic "it needs testing" but rather a "we don't know if it will need testing more so than others"

Khan, we don't need to test 'undead' ability as well as many other abilities we've seen in previous games. But care to explain how 'living shelter' works? We have never seen smth like that in the franchize. Is an OP defence for shooters or a nearly useless substitute for broken gates during a siege? It's quite a difference detween obvious well-known mechanics and brand new features that should be tested before the final release.

To explain, can you tell me how 'Soul Flaying Breath' works, or 'Might Pounce'? Each faction has unknowns and in need of testing. How do you decide which faction needs the most testing?
Might Pounce is like cappa's ability from h6 or 3rd upgrade of horned demon from h5. It compensates lack of mobility for a strong but slow creature. Assuming stun effect it is probably used once per combat.
Soul flaying breath is more unclear, i agree. It seems like an AOE damaging all creatures around but not just the closest ones but also those 1 step away (dealing less damage them). So it's basically the choice between AOE damage dealer (dragon) and a single target damage (rider)
It is a pity that there is no Sanctuary !!! :-(
