Vampire

As they grow in power, Liches may earn the right to be embraced by the Spider Goddess herself to die and be reborn as Akhkharus, or "Vampires". Vampires don't need to eat, drink, sleep or breathe anymore. However, they need to drink human blood on a regular basis to thin this venom down, and prevent it from dissolving their body from the inside.

Kaspar's Comment

“There is another way to become a Vampire. Only the highest-ranking and most powerful Necromancers master this ‘Ritual of the Night’, which can forcibly return a soul into its recently-deceased corpse. The soul must be willing to return, though, or there’s a chance the reborn Akhkharu will be a bloodthirsty monster...”

Undead

Undead are immune to poison, mind effects, fear, and morale effects. Negative light spells are more effective on the creature while supportive spells won't affect it, except for healing spells that damage it instead of healing it.

Life Drain

Vampires drink the blood of their victims to regenerate their own health. Needless to say, said victims need to be living ones.

Vampire Knight

Gifted with hundreds of years of combat experience, Vampire Lords are the greatest warriors of Heresh. They possess mastery over time and space that allow them to move on the battlefield like a blur and a mist. No enemy can hope to outmaneuver them.

Kaspar's Comment

“The most zealous Paladins of Elrath would resent calling these Undead warriors ‘knights’. They haven’t met Sir Jaywoods, gallant and chivalrous from the point of his boot to the tip of his sword, and yet fully and truly dead. Last time I heard about him he had even embarked on some heroic quest in faraway lands!”

Vigilance

Vampires are so fast that they never can be flanked.
