Ghost

Upon their death, the children of the Dragon Gods rise as spirits to the moon, to await reincarnation under the guiding hand of Asha. However, traumatic events can cause the creation of a Ghost, a spirit bound to the material world by a powerful, negative emotion. By performing a specific ritual, Necromancers can convert Ghosts into loyal servants, under their absolute control.

Kaspar's Comment

“Necromancers recruit and employ Soul Hunters who scour the surface of Ashan seeking these lost souls. Soul Hunters themselves cannot control these ghosts; their role is to subdue and chain them using guardian glyphs, psychic cages, sometimes even magical chains.”

Undead

Undead are immune to poison, mind effects, fear, and morale effects. Negative light spells are more effective on the creature while supportive spells won't affect it, except for healing spells that damage it instead of healing it.

Banshee

Despair, sadness, and regret are the forces that create the Banshee. They often appear in great numbers in the aftermath of a great battle, a disaster, or a plague. The despair of their plaintive weeping can rack even the hearts of hardened warriors… but those who have encountered them often say it is the way their eyes seem to follow you everywhere that is truly nerve-shattering.

Kaspar's Comment

“Obtained through long and difficult rituals, Banshee Tears become virulent poisons in the hands of Necromancers. The despair of a Banshee dissolved in a glass of wine will kill a king more surely than a sword or dagger.”

Vigilance

Banshees are almost ethereal, unreal, and when you think you’ve found their back, they’re actually facing you. As a result they never can be flanked.
