Bear

When they travel outside of their subterranean realm, the Dwarves of the Winterwind clan often make a detour in the nearby forests to hunt, but also capture wild animals. That’s how they tame those great bears who are then trained to fight alongside the Dwarves.

Kaspar's Comment

The Winterwind clans also has regiments of bear riders, but they are rarely deployed as most of the Dwarves’ battles are fought in underground tunnels.

Wild

Every time the creature gets damage from an enemy creatures' melee attack (not retaliation), it gets the "Wild" buff until end of its next turn, empowering its attacks with Cleave and Bash effects.

Blackbear

Bigger and stronger than regular bears, Blackbears wear heavy armour and are rigorously trained. These mighty beasts are loyal companions to the Winterwind Dwarves, and they prove downright deadly when unleashed on the battlefield by their handlers.

Kaspar's Comment

Bears are not the only animals Dwarves have been known to tame. Mountain lions, predatory birds and of course goats are common sights in Grimheim.

Rage

Every time the creature gets damage from an enemy creatures' range attack, it gets the "Rage" buff until end of its next turn, increasing its base damage, movement and making the creature Indomitable.
