Hi guest-f9S97J4c, please have a read of this announcement https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/important-information-beta-delay
Опять обман, продали ожидание за 2К. Не любят своих фанов
Ahwwww I was hoping I could play the beta tomorrow. For the people who are whining; even though you've got the right to be unsatisfied, it really isn't going to be launched any faster.
Estamos a 260515 y la beta no funciona. Antes daba un error en la descarga. Ahora lo dejan sin opción a descargarse y no responden desde " atención al cliente" .
260515 a las 15:08 pm.
You are just nerdy fans, who are lucky to be included in the development.
They didn't have to do any of this. No car company asks their customer "what car should we make.. vote for the engine we should put in".
They do, and you still bitch about not being included, viciously attacking anything they put out.
Right now, the prevailing opinion in the developer group must be fans are a human waste, because this is not how human being behave. And I completely understand.
Their issue has nothing to do with being included in the development or not. They are feeling discouraged for what they feel was a blatant lie told to them about the Beta. Just take a look at the title of the article and you'll see what I mean. Whether or not they chose to include the community would not have effected their plans to release a beta to only those who pre-ordered, so your rant is way off the mark.
I have already noted this in the forums previously, but Ubi only does one way communication.
It was very obvious during MMH6 both pre- and post-release development. Many bugs, even when reported in designated "write reproducible bugs here and we'll pass them to BHE/Limbic" threads have never even reached BHE/Limbic. And yes, I am talking about bugs that were not related to specific hardware configs (e.g. NVIDIA issue), as well as bugs present within IPCB part 2, PCB, day0, ..., final.
We also don't need to buy their title, which they don't want to happen.
Just to recap my reactions to most of these comments:
1) Ubisoft is a company. They want to make money and to do that, they NEED the game to be good.
2) You are not entitled to anything.
3) Criticizing every creature model by "NOT "TRUE" TO HEROES SERIES" isn't a valid comment. There are no true Heroes games. There have been six version. Which one is "true"? You are just like all those nostalgic fans who believe old is better. It isn't, universaly.
4) You don't understand game-development.
2) Actually, in this case people are deservedly entitled, as money were exchanged. I was billed by steam for my pre-order. That cash is no longer in my bank account. If UBI handled this the way of traditional betas, like say the way Blizzard usually does it (picking "random" to participate in theirs betas with no monetary obligations whatsoever) , then you would be CORRECT.
3) Long time adult fans, not spoiled children, usually have a pretty good idea about the atmosphere and art design to their favorite property. And most respectable development houses (even thou they are very qualified) usually pay close attention to those fans feedback. I can name multiple examples, where design and art were replaced, because of hardcore fans suggestions.
And, specifically in the entertainment industry, you can make a very solid case for "Older is better"
When alot of present day sequel titles feature more modest amounts of content with reduced features (Heaven forbid, features cut to be sold separately ), compared to older entries, that only pale in terms of graphical complexity and technical sophistication.
Specifically for sequels, the purpose should be the on expanding the features set. More, not less. More polish, depth and so on.
Unfortunately for you, MMH7 is neither a free game, nor devoid of promotional stuff.
People who pre-ordered were promised access to this "beta" before they pre-ordered. Moreover, Ubi went as far as signing off the promotional package as ready to ship on Friday... But then did not deliver.
Plus, it was Ubi's idea all along to do this pathetic excuse of a PCB. So if they decided to tell us that people who pre-ordered are entitled to a PCB this Monday, I don't see why they wouldn't be.
P.S. (out of characters in the previous post)
If you were familiar with Heroes series, you would perfectly see that the only reason this series is still alive, is due to old-time fans. Due to very strict char limits I'd rather not discuss this in detail. So actively trying to ignore their suggestions is a quite good way to end the series asap.
The 4th part looks like a shot in the dark. Go play some poker, you might even win (or lose) some real cash :D
To do money they don't need the game to be good, just to sell it.
They did that with H6, the problem is that maybe it won't happen this time even if the game is good.
2 is false.
As you can see here : http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/851-MMH7-Closed-Beta
they have three bugs.
Depending on the number of people working for I think that the development time required is more than a few days to a few hours. We will see.
any news so far concerning the beta?
Hi Varaxxian, please see the latest statement here https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/important-information-beta-delay thanks
