Looks same like in other parts of game.
Point 1 is already essential. The "tactics"-ability in Heroes VI became more and more useful when my cavaliers were put in front of a great rock and couldn´t rush forward one field.
Hey guys, i was wondering if there will be dynasty weapons again? Or even if i will be able to use the weapons from the previous game, since i spend a lot of time leveling them.
Not in the same way as h6 at least(their words) so highly unlikely that you could use dynasty-weapons from h6.
no dynasty weapon system in that game, thanks god.
I'd bet some of those weapons find their way into the game, but will not resemble those from H6.
Dragon Flame Tongue (for example) has been around for multiple versions. Many have.
The Dynasty system from H6 was an interesting idea that like so much of H6, was woefully incomplete.

This is really great. This is exactly what this game needs. More combat and battle parameters to further challenge and improve battles
This sounds like all the usual Heores features... just deliver something like V, and I'll be happy.
Oh and yes, add a spell penetration system for general magic resistances, and please add more abilities, especially for spellcasters; linear unit spellcaster damage scaling, too.
Give some ABILITIES to necropolis units!!!!
SKELETON and GHOST need some ACTIVE ABILITIES, not only boring vigilance!!!
3. Hoping we at least get something like super champions like H3 Azure Dragons
5. interesting, though as a side point, I miss the H3 times when running away from an enemy/kiting was actually often necessary to minimize losses.
6. yes. I think H6 cover did not work too well because the AI has a very predictable selection process of what unit it will attack
11. In H6, if there was a spell similar to a warcry, it didn't make much sense to spend the skill points on spells since it consumed mana.
All of those 12 points sounds great ! Really impatient to start a battle and to form my own opinion !

I like what I read here for the most part. A few quick reactions:
3. In H6, boss battles in and of themselves weren't a problem. I just found very few of them a challenge.
8/9. This is what I've been thinking should be wait/defend all along. Nice choice there.
All in all, I think the improvements made here will enhance game play. Here's hoping you have an AI that is as good.

@ Mohikanin: Oh, "Heroes 5" had the Tactics as feature, too? Seeing your post, I *THINK* I remember that being the case, but it was so long that I forgot about it!
Also, as long as I'm posting...I don't remember "Ambush" battles in "Heroes III". Was it limited to certain Scenarios and such?
