Pas mal mais les écrans de ville en 3D d'Heroes V ont laissé un souvenir impérissable et en particulier celui de l'Académie, flottant libre en plein milieu du ciel... ici on se sent enfermé par toutes ces montagnes !

really good, I like the 2d townscreens...i mean, the H5's were awesome and all, but there were to many animations going on there to fully enjoy it...

The explanation why people dislike your towns (since heroes 6) :

In heroes 3 and heroes 5 the castle was surrounded by the walls and it was part of the town ... it seems like here the town screen projects all that suppose to be in the town except the fortress ... which makes it feels very narrow and small.

March 11, 2015 15:17:11

the wall section seems out of place .... really out of place...
you should encircle all the outer rim buildings with a wall and make it much thicker and substantial this is after all the fortress - the one who create the golums the ones who create the colussie the ones who build things ... ! so make it feels like they built a massive wall...

That being said ... the town needs more housing .. the market should be more in the center - it is eastern after all and if you go to India or arabian countries you will get a feeling of how large the market can be as an attraction...

Arcane portal isn't a building which is removing part of the glory of finding and building the "treasure" in your town.

more bridges and maybe not all buildings should be on top of the floating islands some can be on the sides. make it less feeling like platforms

This looks like a concept art design ... and it will probably be looking the same when you finish which is sad.

so yeah it is expensive to create 3D town ... true but it is more important aspect than you claim it to be. it was always and will always be part of what makes the game a heroes game and as you noticed in heroes 6 people really got upset when you messed with us and the town screens.

we are in 2015-16 ... its time you start moving forward not backward. 3D is the right way to move.

Not Trying to be to harsh but seriously...

They only create 6 castles - which they basically rehashing from the old ones so there isn't to much work into it (except animation department) They got an already built engine to use. So what are you doing with the money - why not 3D proper heroes 5 like town screens ?

Heroes 5 had several things which ruined it like : camera angle(to close), cartoonist style, map layout (narrow like a maze). One thing is sure Heroes 5's town screen made the game

As already stated, the town needs more houses for living purpose, more bridges and please return it to the desert. Really loved that part when playing Academy.

So...Academy is no longer in the desert.

All these townscreens would get better if they were populated (an arcane bird flying behind the mountains, cabirs talking with mages besides buildings, stone guardians at the castle's gates...) Who agrees?

Mam nadzieję, że pozostałe zamki zostaną zrobione tak samo dobrze, bo ten jest super.

Fajne połączenie architektury arabskiej, greckiej i prawosławnych kościołów.

Rzeczywiście to taki mix kulturowy, ale bardzo ładnie rozbudowane miasto, wizualnie prezentuje się o wiele lepiej niż w Heroes V.

Zgadzam się.

Please add regular houses to your cities (that are just aesthetic), like how in Homm3 and Homm5 miscellaneous houses and other features would appear when you upgraded your town centre to give the feel that it was a real city with a population... not just a game city where everything is weirdly floating, separate and with a discreet function/not a living place.
Take some inspiration from the homm online version and homm5.
