The Mysterious

A long-time Heroes fan, I first discovered Heroes II in high school. Since then, I have played through just about entry in the Heroes franchise, even to include HoMM I and II on Gameboy Color, Heroes III WoG, and the eight Heroes Chronicles. Heroes III and V are my favorite games in the franchise, with IV being my least favorite by a long ways. I tend to choose dungeon or elven-associated factions, although the reptilian Heroes III Fortress and Heroes VI Sanctuary might be my all-time favorites. I love adventures as well as RPG-style quests, and my style of gameplay is focused on defense and economy. I relish games where my opponent throws everything they've got at my castle walls, only for me to mount a successful defense and overwhelming counterattack with a single monstrosity of a hero. Anyone care to go up against 6k archliches in Heroes III WoG? Anybody? No? Okay :-)
