Behemoths! <3 That's what I'm hoping for the most.
I also want trolls back. Big, ugly trolls who throw rocks. I'd be satisfied if they were a neutral creature but were associated closely with Stronghold (but they must have adventure map dwellings and be recruitable).
I just don't want too many orcs and goblins in the line-up...

I'm hoping for some new creature too. Of course thunderbird and behemoth (and ogre magi) are nice, but i'd like to see more a desert related beast, like scorpions. Or even scorpion-rider.

I liked Stronghold in all Heroes games. It was fun enough. And, of course, line up made it possible with fair balance, matched with diverse mechanics and funny skills.

To me, one big flying beast must appear. That one can be Wyvern or Roc (I prefer the latter). A bulky big beast, that can be a Behemoth or a Mammoth carrying a houdah. I like harpies and centaurs (although I don't mind if they appeared as neutrals). If orcs are the race, they can come as nomads, shamans for all I care.

Don't go cheap on full rrp paying customers with game quality or content.

Also this is a full priced game, and as such 2 channel only compressed mp3 audio among other cut corners is not acceptable.

Heroes of Might and Magic 5 had surround sound in 2006.......Might and Magic Heroes 6 had stereo sound.

Я б сказал, что здесь где-то 30/70 русскоговорящие и англ. А вот других языков почти нет. Польский очень редко. Чешского вообще ни разу не встречал. Украинский один раз видел. Испанский тоже несколько раз. Французов видел, но они на англ пишут все.

@Kha_Duun, there's too much russian auditory therefore they more change opinions with each other than with ubi. When they address to ubi, they try to write on english. And your English is fine. That is not what you can get from the automatic translator. English and Russian have pretty different sentence-making logic so they can be translated on each other pretty crappy.

По поводу автосейва в гер 3 - сам не помню, ,был он там или нет (мне тогда от силы лет 10 было) но разрабы решили походу все по хардкор моде делать. Не ну даже если не было автосейва - нельзя что ли было его добавить для хотя бы удобства новичков, играющих в первый раз в гер 3, но при этом игравшие в другие части - это же отпугнет некоторых игроков и создаст негативную реакцию.

Смотря по какому критерию сравнивать ХД эдишн и ХД мод. ХД мод не имеет такой прорисовки, да и там, по сути, совсем другая технология использовалась. Чисто визуально ХД эдишн лучше + стим сапорт + удобная сетевая. На планшете - это вообще мечта для меня. Буду куда-то ехать - понажимаю в дороге. Жаль, нельзя с планшета в сетевую)

Ахаха) Т.е. холивар всё ещё возможен...
Без дополнений всё равно игра кажется урезанной, и это самый большой плюс мода. Большинство наверняка продолжат его использовать. В остальном HDE конечно получше будет, хотя кто-то мне на этом форуме говорил, что ему и картинка в моде больше нравится.

I am very glad to hear that. As I said earlier to Marzhin, I believe that the thought of reusing older models as a breather is a hinder to creativity.
On top of that, doing such has never been done before, and the H6 Necro models are plain awful, imo.

1. Haven - 2 (Justicars, Sisters)
2. Necro - 1 so far
3. Dungeon 2 (Medusa, what medic said), Nitpicking? Your personal bias count Minotaurs if it benefits you.
4. Academy 2 (Gargoyle, Djinn), please. you would count Titans as one of the guys if it supports your argument.
5. Sylvan 2 known (Dryad, Druid)

Well, Haven has 1 female unit. Sisters are not part of the main lineup so i don't think we should count them in. Now as for Academy, the real female unit is probably the Djinn since Gargoyle cannot be male or female since it is a construct. But for f***s sake let's count it as 0.5. Necropolis only has one female unit, the ghost and i doubt there will be any other female unit not even in the warfare ones. Maybe the Namtaru will be the appropriate first aid.

No, you got it all wrong. Rob explained it to you guys like a million times. I don't want to repeat what he said. I think you'll just twist it to your own personal female-bias anyway.
Also, any creature that has the characteristics of a certain gender that is a humanoid is counted as that gender.
There really was no reason to make gargoyles female. Gargoyles are suppose to be scary, not a beauty queen. If you can give an argument for female-looking gargoyles, I'd love to hear it.

"Warlock" is a difficult category, because both Dungeon and Inferno are kind of fighting over it. In H3, they were Dungeon, in H6 they were Inferno. For now I place Warlock in the Inferno class, but with some shifts here and there it could go to Dungeon just as much.

@Igelkolnikov: Hm, that would be a bit confusing. Maybe...Master Stalker? Or...Shadow Assassin? You know, to spice it up a bit.

I have no problem with offense, defense, balance, might, magic as long as it's only for one faction. If that's for all factions then it becomes repetitive, unoriginal and uniformed.

Well, it's not called 'Heroes of Might AND Magic' for nothing, right? Agreed, in ToE the Stronghold Faction had only access to warcries rather than 'real' magic, but still you had the Shaman units that were capable of spellcasting. Might-only for Stronghold makes little sense. We have our Dreamwalkers, our Shamans, magic does play a part in their tribal life. Ancestral spirits, Mother Earth, Father sky etc.

As for Academy: having a magic-only hero class makes more sense, although I still believe they too can have might-oriented heroes (battlemages, if you will).

Back in H3 there was a Might and Magic class for each faction, even Stronghold. H5 killed that off by giving each faction only one type of hero, but H6 brought it back again, even with extra classes. To me, that's not a boring, repetitive feature. It's a strategic choice: what do you want your hero to be, and why?

Now i have to agree with Jemo, its boring if theres lack of diversity between faction heroes. For example Academy should have Magic heroes and kind of mixture between magic and warfare, like alchemist always were. For stronghold i would prefer Offense anti-magic heroes like H5 orcs, and shamans with some specific sort of magic that suits Mother earth Father sky idea and more adventure map skills.

Holly crap! I just realised that i dreamed of townscreen improovements in H7! In my dream there was a townscreen's field and the main buildings' places where marked on it,and it was LOGICAL! in game like homm: female in faction must be originally known as mythological character, like medusa, banshee or succubus (a feminist who came back from hell to take revenge against other feminists who told her that its a good way to live) and then must fit for special faction. if u want feel like female in homm, u have a possibility to choose your hero (who is leading your army) by playing random map.

im not against females as themself, im against people who have some kind of inner/personality/psychological problems, or opinions, or some kind of ideas or images they could use by "mistake". for example: after h5 introducing cartoon-trailer before release, i was exited as a boy that i will get cool-looking (male) angel warrior with sword and armor in new styles and graphics ready for battle.

but after release i was just 'slightly surprised' that they made it female, coz when i saw that they used and created the image of kind, warm and loving (good) female/person (with white short hair), i thought that at least they know what they r doing and i liked that image (it fits and it could be angel). sanctuary as 'new thing' was interesting for me to try, but i was naturally bored quickly of '3 female units and animalheaded-animal' faction.

i would say, as for asian-water theme snow maiden should stay, 'water girl' must be replaced by 'strong-looking male creature made of water' like oceanus or poseidon (for example) and coral priestess replaced by samurai warrior or stay as last possible female unit (but i prefer to be replaced. if stay - sharkman must be replaced by samurai warrior). its like sanctuary was created just to look beautiful and attract more girls.

if u want to create a faction which would attract more girls to play, make 'amazons', maybe it would be interesting even for me to try the faction which is personalized with female warriors (if made well). but i was never a fan to play with female units in games like 'lineage 2', 'diablo 3' or 'guild wars 2' since im boy myself, same here.

P.S. particularly agree. Simple number without a purpose shouldn't be a reason to implement female characters. But honestly, I don't see such stuff here: look at the dungeon: there were 2 delightful fem units, they are gone. Medusa is not a female completely. More beast/creature. Necropolis minus one ugly namtaru. Only elves druid and djinn turned into a females as for now. I bet they made fem druids just to troll JeremiahEmo lol

Actually, the use of males was accurate in that they were used for common soldiers and cavalry because they were the most likely to get killed. Also, please look up japanese/chinese/asian mythology. The use of female "beings" is quite common. And although I think the sharkmen were a weird unit, they were good fodder.

Actually, society of Dak Elves is NOT matriarchal - H5 Dungeon was Nival's "artictic vision" and now considered non-canonical. In H6 majority of their campaign charasters (including all of clanlords) are male, with only a one scene assassin and a lowbirth guerilla warrior been female.

In my opinion, female humans (or elves) shouldn't usually be frontline soldiers. Do you see that in real life? Almost never, they usually work as "healers" or scouts, if at all. Besides this is a medieval fantasy.

Anyway, my problem with female units is that Ubi seems like they're bending unit's genders just for the sake of doing it. Making at least 2 creatures per faction female is almost like you're after a quota. A feminist quota.

H5 was really artistic. Nival focused on creativity. Unlike H6, they didn't have a gender quota to reach.

@Opensky321 From my point of view, many players (male) plays the female characters, because they like to look at women's bodies... especially when they are very scantily clad. I do not like female figures (human). I can not imagine how a woman (even trained) can defeat the warrior who is much stronger, etc.
There are historical exceptions where a woman was top and led armies. Celts, Vikings - a lot of warriors (women), Joan of Arc...
